Social Innovation Challenge

The Social Innovation Challenge is a high school initiative to advise and empower young Arkansans to design creative solutions to issues in their surrounding area.

See Opportunity

Rogelio Garcia Contreras, Director of Social Innovation at the University of Arkansas invited UA Enactus to help launch the very first state wide High School Social Innovation Challenge in which students aged 14-18 design innovative projects to improve their communities.

Take Action

Enactus students hold daily video meetings with high school students all over the state of Arkansas to advise student leaders and further develop their projects. At UA Enactus, we believe healing starts at home and are proud to help grow the next generation of leaders.

Enable Progress

The Social Innovation Challenge brought painful issues in Arkansas to the forefront of debate on topics such as public health, education, and immigrant integration. This challenge brought service learning to the Arkansas high school classroom and empowered students to make a difference in their own hometowns.
